Don't fall into the instant riches trap! It is EXTREMELY RARE that a newbie launches a website and instantly makes money extreme amounts of income; the competition is just to stiff. If you are going to make money online, you’ll need to find a profitable niche that you enjoy and build from there. No gimmicks, no tricks, no online underground tactics and black hat stuff.

Don’t fall into the guru trap. How can you tell if a person has fallen into this money sapping trap? They are easily seduced, hood winked, bombarded, tricked, persuaded or conned into buying every new ebook and/or piece of software that promises instant riches.

The gurus classify these individuals as whales because they are fat with cash and just keep buying and buying. The items they purchase don’t get them anywhere but the gurus have convinced them that they are going hit the mother load on the next purchase, just you WAIT and SEE! Truth be told, 94% of the e-books, software, DVD’s and memberships they’re peddling can be classified as bogus hype.

It simple won’t produce the results they’re claiming. Claims such as, “I made $4000.00 in one week after buying Guru Guru’s ebook, this is amazing!” Yeah right! If you believe that, I’ve got some air space in Detroit to sell you that will be worth millions in a few hours.

Don’t get on the gurus opt-in email list. One this happens you will be bombarded with all kinds of tantalizing and sizzling offers to make you rich. Some gurus will e-mail you two, three and sometimes four times a day with can’t wait offers.

Others will e-mail less frequently, but you will hear from them at least a couple of times a week with a new ebook, DVD, software application or underground trick or tactic that will make you rich. Some newbies start off spending hours a day reading these emails because there’s so many of them. However, it gets them nowhere and fast.

Make Money Online Tip #4
Don’t fall for the guru’s hired guns. These guys pay copywriters big bucks to make their sales pages simply irresistible. Some sales pages can be three pages long, but they’re written so well, people read them to the very end. After reading the copy, most people can’t help but click the order button.

If they decided not to buy the gurus have another trick up their sleeves. If you click on the backspace button or the Red X to close the page, you are going to be hit with what’s called a “FORCED CONTINUITY” offer. A pop up is going to appear offering you some sort of a sweet discount and at the end of the offer, you’ll see a note with phrasing similar to this:

“I understand this is a one-time offer and by declining I am saying that I don’t need the help of Guru Guru to make money online. I am also saying that I know it all and don’t mind doing it the hard way and potentially taking an additional 2 years before I start making money when I could purchase this ebook by Guru Guru and explode my income in the next seven days.”

In some cases, they may force you to go through two to three forced continuity offers before they allow you to exit their sales page. Gurus have found this method of marketing to have a high conversion rate and they want to convert you!

Don’t fall for get this for free bait and switch trap. One of the hottest tricks currently being used by the gurus marketing to those who want to make money online is the, FREE OFFERS! The offer you something for free, a membership. DVD, ebook or software application. But actually what you get is bait. The DVD, which you paid $6.95 and up for shipping and handling is nothing more than an elongated sales pitch; so is the ebook.

The free membership you signed up for only gets you a tidbit of the things paid members get. Oh and the free software, every time you use it, you see the red flag that states this feature is only for Gold Members and to become a Gold Member, just plop down $197.00 top gain full access. Yeah right! Anytime you see a guru offering something for free, be wary, be very wary!
