California law requires bill paying services, and pro-raters
accepting money from clients to be disbursed to creditors on
behalf of the debtor, to be licensed by the California
Commissioner of Corporations. General Proraters, which is what
the debt termination company, the Federal Debt Relief System is
classified as, must maintain a minimum of $10,000 net worth and
a surety bond of $25,000. In addition, because they have
affiliates/agents, the requirements are considerably
higher.
If you check with the California Dept. of Corporations by
calling 866-275-2677 or 866 ASK CORP, you will find that there
is no record of the company: Federal Debt Relief System as of
October 2008. Talk about things that make you go, hmmmm! You
can also check online at: http://www.corp.ca.gov.

with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their

practices.
